Youth-by-the-Sea Update: Coming this Fall!

School is about to start and that means FBC youth group is also getting ready to launch.   We are looking forward to exciting youth group meetings and some great events this fall for youth in grades 6-12.

New YMTLs

Since Pastor Eric will be preaching every Sunday during Pastor David’s
sabbatical, Glen and Nikita McElwee are going to the Youth Ministry Team Leaders (YMTLs).  The McElwees are both native New Englanders and graduates of Gordon College.  They have been on the youth ministry team since April and previously volunteered with Young Life. They were married at First Baptist Church and celebrated their second anniversary this year with the youth mission team in Acuña, México.   You can email them at [email protected] and [email protected].

Parents Meeting

All parents of youth are encouraged to attend a meeting next Tuesday (Sept. 4^th) at 7pm at FBC.  This meeting will give you a chance to get to know the McElwees and hear about youth ministry this fall.  We would love your input on what we could do to make this ministry as effective as possible.
