No youth Group Tomorrow

There will be no youth group tomorrow (Sunday) but there will be lots going on with a sunrise service at Singing Beach (6:12am) followed by breakfast at the American Legion and a resurrection celebration at FBC (10:45am) which includes the baptism of one of our own.

YG Carboload and Trivia Night

Our next youth group event will be next Sunday evening (April 15th) at the Sergeants’ (72 Pleasant St).   This is the start of April vacation and the day before the Boston Marathon.  We are going to eat pasta, drink Gatorade, and do some trivia to get ready for the big day.  Althea sergeant will be coordinating the carbs for that evening, please contact her to find out what you can bring: [email protected] or 978.778.8184.  Sign up via email or Facebook if you plan to attend.

Youth Mission Trip

The PowerPoint recording of our mission team meeting as well as all the forms for the trip are available at www.manchesterfbc.org/youth/missions.  Deposits and forms are due April 15th.  You can drop them off at the church, mail them to the church, or bring them to the carboload.

Scripture of the Week

When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint [Jesus]. 2 And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb. 3 And they were saying to one another, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?” 4 And looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back— it was very large. 5 And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were alarmed. 6 And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.”
